That is exactly why we left our lease this year. They ran seismic this Spring and destroyed the turkey season. The oil co. is scheduled to drill a gas well some time this year. We didn't know where or when. So, we bailed. It would have been the last year on our lease anyway and we weren't given the option to renew as the land owner wants to do "guided trophy whitetail and turkey" hunts.

That sucks, our neighbors started putting up a high fence on opening day
2 yrs ago and I hunt that fenceline. Needless to say, I was hot.

In my directional drilling days I worked on land rigs all over Texas. I've seen bucks and does walk up to the edge of the location. I've also seen them walk around heavy logging equipment while it's running.
I'd relocate the stand feeder and not be discouraged. There is a rig drilling less than a 1/4 mile from my best bow stand. I saw 11 deer and 18 turkey opening morning. I can hear the pumps and generators running and roughnecks yelling.

I appreciate the words of encouragement. I will be leaving the feeder up for a couple of weeks, and see if the corn piles up, or if they are still coming in. Once the drilling starts, they will be going 24/7, so I imagine I'll need to move it then.
