I grew up in Woodville. We knew people down in Barlow Lakes and they always flooded with heavy rains or when the locks were really opened. Hopefully they have been evacuated or chose to leave the area. The Spurger and Fred areas are going to have some real problems and others further downstream. When Rayburn opens up, it will get much worse.

I bet Old Sour Lake Rd is under probably 5 ft of water by now. It floods quick and holds water for a long time.

Talked to the Jasper County Sheriffs yesterday while we were getting trespassers off my cousins place and they said they are releasing Dam B because Ray Burn is about to open up so they are trying to compensate the difference. Ray Burn had either a .5 foot or 1.5 feet to go before the dam there was opened some according to them.
