I don't always drink whisky but when I do I drink Makers Mark or Weller. My neighbor brought me 4 sealed bottles of Seagrams VO & Canadian Club, they have date stockers going across top od 1982,1984 & 1985 does the age make any difference in flavor? better or worse? I also got an old bottle Of Johnnie Walker Black label scotch, YUK hate scotch, is prob about same age.

Shouldn't taste any different than a a current production bottle. From my understanding a whiskey will not age once bottled. Enjoy Canada! -

I'm no expert, but do as much field research as possible. Those two will not be effected by age. Drink up.Comment

Whiskey will only age in the barrel not bottled. I would hurry up and drink them in case their is an air leak and ruin the whiskey.Comment

Already started on the seagrams actually not bad at all, it's not Weller but not bad either.Thanks guys, I drink plenty of beer & Rum just laid off whisky years ago,when I was younger it mad me bullet proof and maybe just a smidge of an a__ .
