    Opinions on a 2003 6.6 duramax engine?

Good bad whatcha got? Injectors was just changed less than 20 miles ago.

Injectors is the biggest thing. If they were replaced you should be good to go. Run clean diesel through it and some dieselkleen every now and then and change your fuel filter regularly (I change mine every 10K just cause).

The only other widespread issue on these trucks is the intermediate steering shaft. You get a clunky steering wheel. Easy fix though.

Honestly injectors are your only real worry. If you want to do any mods you are limited to around 650 on torque due to the older 5 speed Allison. I have an '03 and replaced my injectors 3 times, but after finally blowing my head gaskets I swapped it out for an '05 LLY engine.

Run a quart of transmission fluid in every tank and your injectors will love you

I don't do it in every tank, but I do try to run a quart of 2 cycle marine oil through the tank often.

Just put it in the gas tank and fill up???

I have a VERY low miles '12, and I haven't done anything yet... But I'll learn all the tricks I can!

Yes that's what I do, but this is also an older model...I have no idea of it works as well with the newer trucks.
