Alaskan Cruise in July - what excursions would you do?

As the title says, we're cruising Alaska in July. Following are the ports and some of the things we are currently thinking about. Does anyone who has been have any recommendations?
Juneau - 4 Glacier tour
Skagway -
Beyond Skagway Tours
or
White Pass & Yukon Railway
Ketchikan - Misty Fjords
Victoria BC - Butchart Gardens

White Pass & Yukon Railway

We did those and a couple of whale watching trips and enjoyed all of them.

Avoid the eagle trips. Those things are everywhere.

When we went we did the week cruise from BC to Alaska then did the week long land tour into Denali. AWESOME trip. Here was our itinerary

Juneau - 4 Glacier tour
Skagway - White Pass & Yukon Railway
Ketchikan - Deadliest Catch Tour

We also did one of the whale watching tours but I can't remember which port it was in. They White's Pass was very beautiful that time of year.

I went snorkeling in Ketchikan and it was awesome. In Skagway I went on a zipline. It was great!

In Vancouver,the high tea at the Empress Hotel is impressive...in Skagway,take the railroad up over the mountains.

From someone that lived there for 22 years - Do the glacier tour and the Misty Fjords. Both are great.

Ed....it has been a few years, but we did the helicopter/dog sledding on the glacier in Juneau....it was beyond incredible!

Ketchikan is my all time favorite....Misty Fjords is spectacular....as is the Zip Line. You can not go wrong with either of those.

When are you going?

Well be on the Norwegian Pearl which leaves Seattle July 5th.

The White Pass Yukon Railway was great. I did lots of fishing trips. The wife enjoyed a helicopter ride to land on a glacier. I would suggest arranging all your trips yourself. You will pay much less for the same tours the ship books. JMHO
