    Cool relic while hiking.

I was out hiking around today in the mountains. Ran across a bunch of these.

I found an old water can.

Also found this 90 year old mason jar.

Out mainly for the workout but it is good to look around also.

I took this next photo at one of the family cemeteries about a month or so ago. It is why we get to enjoy these days. I had asked my mother who the man was in a photo she had. He was dressed in a military uniform. He was already gone a few years before she was born. A relative on my grandmothers side. I was able to locate him at the cemetery. Notice the date of death.

It is a bear print. I could not make out tracks very well until I got down to the creek. The area has had some moisture and the sun had hardened the surface making track reading tough.

Obvious baby Sasquatch track. Good thing you didn't run across the parents.
Of course they were probably watching you from somewhere wondering if you had any Jack Links.

Could you imagine going on a hunt or hike with someone like that. Every snap of a twig would be "I just seen a squatch" or "I'm sure that was a black mountain lion".

Wonder how many uses they had for those old metal cans, my grandparents had several they used for storage, grandpa told me of a whole list of things, but all I remember for sure was that railroad spikes were shipped in them.

I'm calling it a water can but I'm probably wrong. It does not have any type of insulation. I have actually found three of these cans over the years. I find old pieces of track on occasion so it could be asscioated with that.
