    Moultrie A5 & A8

They any good? I dont really want to spend much on a couple of cameras since I've already had pictures and evidence of trespassers. I just want a few extras to put up in a couple entrance/exit areas and not be out a $150 camera if it gets stolen.

Anybody running either one of these? Are they fairly reliable? I can deal with it if the pictures aren't that great.

I've ran 2 a5's for the last 2 years with no problems. I did return 1 thinking it wouldn't take pictures but I wasn't clearing the camera memory. I figured if I got 1 year out of them I'd be satisfied and its been 2 so no complaints for a cheap camera other than trigger speed

This. I used two last season as well. These are a great value option.

Used three A5s last season from June-January. Tons of false pictures in the beginning. Narrowed it down to the heat, anytime it got to 90* or so we would have false pictures. 500/2000 pictures would have critters in them. As the season went on and it got cooler, they worked well.
