    RV Dealers

We were going to do a cabin, but now thinking another travel trailer. Never have enough time so thinking dealership. Also will probably have to finance it. Want the price to be 8-15k. No more than 20.

Looking for recommendations and/or warnings for places to buy a travel trailer.

Willing to go from Texoma to Georgetown to Abilene and in between. So pretty good area to cover if the place is right.

    thx for the input.

Bought one from the big one in G-town... nope never again

Our last trailer was purchased from Genuine RV in Nacogdoches and I can't express how nice it was to deal with standup folks... Everything was as agreed upon and every single thing in the trailer was RIGHT before I picked it up.. we have had "0" ZERO defects..

Gave me a good price on my trade and a great price on the trailer..

David Morris and the folks there are great people who have lived up to their word to a "T"

Thanks Mike, Nacogdoches was the one direction I don't go too often though. But that is exactly what I'm looking for. Who has a good rep and who doesn't.

Thanks too refugioco. Found ppl. Houston is a bit far for this too. Looks like they have a place in Cleburne though.

We don't get over there much either... The wife and I spent a year and a half visiting dealers all over the state and RV shows looking for exactly what we wanted and never drove over there... I researched the web and asked everyone I met about where to buy.. Then I saw a FB page for Genuine and they had the model trailer we were looking for, so we made the drive over there... Loved the trailer and was impressed with the fact that David didn't pressure me to buy. In fact he pointed us to the trailer and told us to take our time...

We didn't buy that day, in fact it was nearly year before we even spoke to David again. When we were ready to commit to buying we drove over on a Saturday morning and again no pressure. The model had changed from the 2013 we had first looked at and the 2015 was equipped even better..

David again pointed us to the trailer and left us alone, when we were finished sitting in it and looking it over from pinbox to bumper we went into his office where he answer our questions without evasiveness and we discussed trade value and price and filled out a credit app.

We still wanted to think about the deal so we drove back to Waco without committing. The following Monday I called and told him we wanted it.. and asked how much he wanted down to make it ready... His reply was NOTHING.. When do you want to pick it up..

Since we were having him install slide awnings and a roof vent cover I gave him two weeks...

On the appointed day we hooked up to our trade-in for the last time and drove over... Got there and we did a walk-thru looking at everything and being pointed to were the water pump was hidden as well as how to get to the water heater bypass... Every question was answer and everything worked as it should.

Signed the papers and wrote him a personal check for the down payment I wanted to make so my payments fit our budget..

At no time was I ever pressured... and I've yet to find anyone with a bad word about David or Genuine...

you would be better served to buy a used one and get way more bang for your buck! I have owned a bunch and it is the only way to go. I bought a class A motorhome about 4 years ago for $11,000.00. it appraised at $20,000 and she is still going strong. do your homework and you can get a heck of a deal! Good Luck!!!

I bought mine at Fun Town in Cleburne. I will buy there again. I got $5000 over what I expected on my trade.

Fun Town has good prices but in my experience terrible service on warranty work and repairs, can't say I'd recommend them unless your able to do your own repairs!

We just got a new 2015 29' jay flight for $12,999 in buda tx. There are about 5 dealerships in this area you may want to check out.

that sounds like a too good to be true deal that I'd make a drive for. Which dealership?

Crestview rv next to cabelas. It came with a 2 year warranty on the rv and a 10 year on the roof.
