    Anyone Seen My Trac Hoe???

LOL! I saw this off 103 between Lufkin and Ratcliff yesterday. There were three trucks, a back hoe, a dozer, and that trac hoe out there. It looked like a few fellows went mudding in their trucks and it escalated from there. That trac hoe GONE!

It can probably be recovered without permanent damage at that point

I hope so. The engine compartment was completely under the mud and it had closed in over it. Definately have to be dug out. There was a dozer stuck to the left as well.

Somebody should have told them the ground gets wet after a lot of rain.

Not much forethought given in those plans. Glad I don't own any of that equipment.

LOL! I guess they forgot the drought was over.

Hope the circuit board/s didn't get wet. I know on some of the larger models it can cost thousands to replace a certain electronic part if it gets damaged from moisture.

Only the top of the cab and the boom were visible.

My dad once sunk a backhoe to the steering wheel years ago. They hit a small sink hole and it swallowed it up. They left it there until it dried out enought to get another backhoe and dig it out. Luckily it started right up.

I looked at the picture closer, may be they turned it off before it sucked mud and water into the engine

What I thought was the top of the engine compartment is the base of the arm when I looked closer
