Abilene's got a nice line of storms headed right for us. Hoping it'll decline in intensity and stall out right over the Ft. Phantom/ Hubbard Creek/ OH Ivie watersheds.

Brownwood's actually up to 75% capacity as of today. Not that I don't want it to be completely full, but it's way better than the 15-50% or less that other area lakes are sitting at. How about a nice, slow toad-strangler to sit all over the Big Country for the rest of the week? Sure would be good, if it'd land in the right places that aren't already super-saturated/flooding. Prayers sent for those poor folks in the Wimberly area.

13.7% as of today, according to my new favorite source that was posted on another thread...
As recently as 2011, Texas endured the most intense drought in recorded state history. But the rainfall so far in 2015 has left less than 1 percent of the state in drought conditions. Texas reservoirs are not far behind; as of Monday, they were collectively more than 83 percent full. Use our visualization to see how they compare.
