Thanks for sending it up here. I was heading out early to plant at the ranch but I woke up to thunder and lightning.
Yesterday the forecast was clear and 82 for a high. Last night it was a 20% chance of rain. This morning it was 80% and now it's raining. They can't forecast less than 24 hours in advance.
We need the rain here. We do NOT need the destruction but I wont wish the rain to go away. It needs to move out of east texas and come out here for a bit lol. There is still alot of folks who need it.... Nobody needs hail or tornadoes. I was driving to work about 5 this morning headed west on 176 out of Andrews. First time in my life I was scared of lightning. It was BAD. I was doing about 90 trying to get out of it and get to the control room at the plant. This place is built like a rock haha

Panhandle farmers have til June 6 to get cotton seed in the ground for farmer welfare- err I mean federally backed insurance. At this rate, and the forecast that may not happen.

There will be a lot of insurance farming going on in the AR flatlands this year, unfortunately. It sounds like a lot of guys got their rice in, but there sure are a lot of empty bean/corn/cotton fields.

Some of the guys I knew of when I was up there will have a planter behind a airboat to get it done!
