    Gym help needed.....

    I have bad tennis elbow and curls have killed my arm after yesterdays workout, like pain pills this morning bad... Anything else I can do to include my biceps?????

    I had "tennis elbow" from hitting golf balls off range matts
    I Quit that and it went away with time and Advil.
    Work the rest of your body for awhile.

      Even I had elbow pain when I started working out. My physical therapist at OrthoTexas suggested me some exercises to reduce pain.

        Use forearm straps to hold muscle in place. That usually is enough

        If not, use machines and place bar on wrist instead of gripping the bar, which will aggravate the forearm more

        I also don't go all the way down. It puts too much strain on my bicep tendons and takes tension off the muscle... Which I don't want

        Note: I'm not a liscense trainer or Doctor, I lift for hypertrophy purposes as I'm as strong as I need to be and at my age, honestly won't get much bigger anyway

          I am headed to the gym this morning. I have always tried to change the weights and the reps so not do any damage. It has worked so far.
