Elk shoulder mount $$$?

Title says it all. What have you paid for an Elk shoulder mount?

My son paid around $600. But that was because I mounted it and that covered materials / tanning. Average would be around $1200 to &1500.

I think mine was $800 at the time.. Same guy is around $1000 now and he is usually pretty competitive for the quality.. Great work I would expect somewhere around $1200

Good to know. I'll be going on an elk hunt n October and I was wondering the same thing. Contemplating on a euro mount but man, it's an elk!

Dang, I shoot hoyts and do alright! I think the high quality mounts are going to run $1200-1500 from what I have seen. In my experience you get what you pay for.
