I could care less if I don't see another drop here for 3 months.

I thought this article was interesting - http://kxan.com/2015/05/19/a-summer-...-on-for-years/

Not sure if I trust the weather folks, but it sure seems to shaping up more like 2007 than 2011.

        2007 COMPARED TO 2011*
        •2007: 67.8 degrees
        •2011: 73.5 degrees

*Average high temperature from January to April

        CAMP MABRY TEMPERATURES
•2007: The only year to have June, July, and August’s average high temperatures all below average.
•2007: Lowest number of 90 degree days from June through August since 2005
•2007: Lowest number of 100 degree days from June through August since 2005
•2007: Highest number of days with measurable Summer rain since 2005
•2011: Tied for highest number of 90 degree days from June through August
•2011: Highest number of 100 degree days from June through August
•2011: Driest summer in recorded history.

Seriously though, they are eating it as fast as I can put it out. Our ranch has received around 35" of rain this year.

                Rain is a good thing?

I'm am loving the temps but we are starting to grow gills and get hoof rot in this area. I think the DFW area is on the downside of the law of diminishing marginal returns with rain at this moment..

                Go west or go central!
