Been researching fishing techniques. Obviously a ton of different ways to catch fish. I've narrowed it down to using gulp alive over a popping cork, live bait and heddon spook.

What else can I look up to try and what size/type hooks work best for the gulp and to change trebles on the heddon what hooks work best.

1/16 ounce Norton screwlock for the gulp whether it's under a cork or not. I can get out all my hard baits with VMC treble hooks.

How is the fishing in this area. Does anyone have any input for where to park a camper in relation to where the fish are biting. Heading down friday. Problem is we aren't taking boat now as ALL OF BELTON LAKE is closed and cannot access any ramps to load a boat onto a trailer.

I pm'd him just now. We won't be there til 2-3ish. Wouldn't mind chasing some fish with anyone that can make it. We'll be taking kayaks and chasing whatever we can.
