Going on a hog hunt next week in Seymour. Bought my first bow two months ago and I'm chomping at the bit to shoot something! My target block does not move fast enough!!!

Bud just checking. Anyone show you where to nail them hogs with a Broadhead? It's not the same spot as a whitetail. Of course you may already know.

I am headed to Alaska on 6/3 for grizzly then back to Alaska on August 18 for brown bear. Probably hunt whitetails in the panhandle opening weekend and then hunt my lease in mason for the majority of the season. Have star s birthday hunt booked again for mid November. Should be another great year!!!

These three guys made it through last year and I hope to see them this year. Not bad for Victoria bucks.

Good question. Was thinking if its quartered away from me, I'll try and slip one in behind shoulder, trying to get behind that big plate. Otherwise thinking neck area? Complete noob using a bow so appreciate the check!!

In my opinion, stay away from shooting them in the neck as there is just too much area in the neck that wont do you any good. My best advise is to not worry about the plate and no matter what angle the pig is you want the broadhead to get between the shoulders.
