    Can someone refresh my memory on how to get a texas DBA?

    Go to your county office and fill out the paperwork for an assumed name, and then file it with the State.

      I went to my credit union and they had the paperwork

          Does the credit union file it with the state for you guys?

            Go to county clerk,fill out the form and it's done.They file it immediately.

              What most people don't know is that it does expire. I want to say at year seven or ten, can't remember. Ask the county clerk when you go in.

                yep county clerks office, pay filing fee, expires in 10 years
