Last season's buck on the wall

I picked up my shoulder mount yesterday. The mount was done by Frank McCarty of Lufkin. I'm extremely pleased with the outcome.

Frank did that mount? I've got 7 that he did for me, and they don't look like that. Maybe it's the light or camera angle???

It could also be the manican that was used. This deer had such a large body and neck (live weight was about 220 lbs) that we used a manican designed for the Midwest that was just released this year by McKenzie. Or it could be the lighting, who knows. I know that I will go back to him for more work, he isn't the cheapest but I had it back in less than 6 months.
