    Nueces River Uvalde, TX

The first picture is 8:15 this morning of the high bridge looking north on highway 90 west of Uvalde. This is first water under bridge in long long time.

Went back at 11:15 or so and took second pic at same location. First time in 8 years I've seen water running under the bridge!!!!

B E A Utiful. Thats flash flood quality. I was watching that storm last night hoping it was going to crash over Camp Wood.

Looks good! Rivers should have water in them.

We use to own that land just north of the river right off of 90. I miss that place!

Nice. I'm sure folks around Choke Canyon will be relieved. It sure needed it.

Does anybody know how it looks up by Campwood? We are staying at Big Oak River Camp in the middle of June.

The Nueces does not go to Choke, it ends up in Mathis.

Thats correct. The Frio and San Miguel feed
Choke Canyon. Frio being the primary. From what Im hearing the Frio is flowing good so thats good for Choke.

As for the Nueces River its sad when Lake Corpus Christi gets all this water it quickly gets released. Why? Cause there idiots!!

12 miles north of Camp wood we caught .6 yesterday and .4 today. But the 8ft deep water well that has never ran dry- ran dry about almost two months ago even though its green as Ive ever seen it. In the past 2 weeks the water has gotten to 3ft deep in the well however.
