The last inch of bourbon has a little cloudy streak. I do not remember seeing or hearing about anything like this. It is similar to iced tea that has sat in the fridge a day or 2. Anyone ever encountered anything like this?

Those are considered poltergeists or apparitions of past distillers.
They call it spirits for this very reason.
The story goes, that with every last swig, of every bottle, flask, or barrel, Old distilleries would drop a few ashes from their distilling ancestors into each batch.
these ashes would settle like sediment at the bottom of the barrel but are often so fine that would appear as a light cloud if dilluted by a lot of bourban.
They become more apparent as the dilution is lowered.
This cloudyness is often seen as the spirit or ghost of the distillers and its fabled that if drank , will bring the consumer luck and good fortune post hangover.
or its just spit and back wash.

not backwash
my enemies can't cry when I'm done
don't think any haunted business
and no Bill doesn't visit here
Geez you guys are characters and always good for a laugh.
1835 Bourbon is the brand and if you haven't tried you should, always good stuff. I'll ask at liquor store and also give distiller an email.
