i picked up a spitfire on super sale at Cabela's a while back, but haven't used it. Been looking at adding more sounds via micro sd card and a blackjack decoy. LO where we hunt has been having issues, so I am going to see if I can knock a couple down.
What is your go to sound? How about what rifle/caliber are you using? Im either going with my 243 or AR 223.

A buddy of mine that I always predator hunt with and my grandpa both have FoxPro calls. Really the sound you should use just depends on time of year you're calling. I only predator hunt in the Winter when fur is prime and all of the puppies are fending for theirself and all but grown. About any cottontail in distress works. I've had pretty good luck with Snowshoe Hare,Lightning Jack,Jackrabbit in Distress and Ranting Redbird. Correct me if I'm wrong on the names but to the best of my memory that's what they were or at least pretty close. I shoot .223 for saving fur. During a coyote calling tournament I use a .243 because I don't want any taking a hit and getting away. Not that it couldn't happen but its less likely shooting a 100 grain bullet.Last edited by okrattler; 05-18-2015, 11:53 PM.
