    Sorry to hear about that ... We are going through the same thing with a Basset Hound we recued from the streets. Has Tumors and he is starting to lose weight plus in pain ...

                  Sorry to hear that....I was told when I lost Abby last August, that it will be tough for awhile but it will get better. It has but I still miss that dog everyday...

                        RIP No fun. We've had four dogs in the last 10 years that we went through this with. It's hard to say good-bye to a good family member.

                          Thanks for the replies.Hardest thing i ever had to do.You can tell it's time by looking in their eyes.Hard to explain.She's been from California to Virginia traveling with us.Protected my wife like you can't imagine.But we know she's in a better place now.

                              its one of the hardest things to do. Take comfort that y'all gave her the best life, love, & happiness. It's been 4 yrs since we put my Bride's Silky Terrier down. I still get allergies every time I read a thread like this.
