Roach Infestation

My buddies house is infested with roaches, I mean A LOT of them. If you go into the kitchen at night, they scatter from the table when you turn the light on. Anytime you go into the bathroom, they scatter when you turn the light on. I left my laptop at the house one time and when I brought it back home, had little roaches coming out of it at my house...... So there are A LOT.

The only thing I think would work is to professionally fumigate the entire house b/c the attic and so on. I don't know the exact sq footage of the house but its pretty big. 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, good sized kitchen, living room, dining room, and the attic, so there is lots of area to cover.

Has anyone had this kind of problem taken care of and if so what did you to fix it? And if you don't mind, what did it cost you?

Go to Tractor Supply and get Demon. Not expensive and works great! We had roaches, not as bad as you describe, but they were there and we sprayed Demon around the outside and in any cracks and under everything we could inside. Nothing crawls for 3 months afterwards. Just mix it in a hand sprayer and go to town.

Not many things I hate more than roaches, they absolutely creep me out.

Get some green lizards and turn them loose in the house.

Clean everything and everywhere. Leave nothing out for them to eat or drink. Put stoppers in all drains and clean everywhere they are.
And then fumigate then spray like said above or just break it off and hire a pro. Don't know cost but it's either that or burn the place down...

I know I could look it up but since I'm here already, any concern for pets or people leaving the premises for a certain period of time if you're going to literally need to spray everywhere? I know you can never really stop roaches, but what were numbers post spray vs pre spray like after the 3 months?

DemonWP is incredible. I did some research and tried it on a friend's house. After 1 day it looked like a war zone. They came out of every nook and crack and were flipped over dead scattered everywhere. I sprayed a border around pier and beam house, under deck and dripped a line in a few places inside the house. Never saw another after 1 week.
I bought off ebay for cheap, only needed one packet of the 3 sent.
