    "quitter" socks

so, I have gone through several different types of socks, from gold toe, to nike, in my boot socks, trying to find a brand that doesn't just give up and quit on me. you know, the ones that start to just slide down, no matter how many times you pull them back up.
so, let me know what you recommend..

Justin! I use their over the calf socks when I wear boots and they do well. I have about five pair and they stay up. I will say that I have one or two that have started to slide down but they have some miles on them. They run about $15 for three pair.

Dan Post - Cowboy Certified boot socks. They ain't cheap but they are very well made and you will not have problems with them sliding down.

i use hanes. I'm on m feat almost all day. I buy 2 new packs like every 3 months though lol. I walk the heals outta them. They are the only socks that don't REALLY make my legs and feet hair itch. But they still do a little.

Thorlo. I worked at Cavenders for a few years, walking all day back and forth. Pulled some off the shelf and threw them on. It's the only pair of boot socks I will buy. Yes they are a bit pricey but mine have lasted for years! That's right, years! Can't beat them. Buy one and I promise you will buy more!

I second the Justin socks.....best boot socks I have had. never slide down......I have the black socks with the red writing. I've seen a few other Justin socks and these seem to be the best.

I never realized socks were a problem. I just buy the black cotton athletic socks at Academy...like 6 pair for $10 and they work fine.

I love my Nike Elite ... Comfy as heck and havent had a problem with them sliding.

Can be pricey, but theyre great for playing ball and running around the diamond/field with the kiddos.
