Haha j/k (I work with some of the best nurses I've ever met!)
Haha! There's a reason why I'm going to be an ER nurse!

Haha! ER docs are definitely "special" too... They're also the best to work with, IMO!

I wish more medical professionals had that attitude. Just had back surgery and had a great experience with the hospital and staff where I was at but when I had a hip replacement, that hospital and staff were horrible. Bad enough that complaints were filed.

            Ain't that the truth!

Can ace any test you throw at them, but when it comes to hands on, whole different story.

This is exactly what the American education system has been doing for several years. Want everyone to feel good about themselves, regardless of the consequences. Pitiful

Hey I appreciate the offer, but I've got tons of them. My mom finished her RN a while back and I've got all of hers plus the ones I've bought. Where did you do your schooling? And do you already have a job?

Yep. El Centro for my ADN. I'll be enrolling to start my BSN in the fall. I do already have a job that I will start July 13. I'll be in an ER in Dallas.

I hope you have a good preceptor.

Thank you! Me too! I did complete my last semester of nursing school clinicals in this exact ER so I have a decent feel for how things work there. I got close with a few of the nurses there during that time and all of them have said they would precept me in a heartbeat so I'm going to request one of them since we already work well together.
