"It's the bottom of the ninth (last weekend of deer season) ladies and gentlemen as jerp steps to the plate (heads to the lease) one last time to try and redeem himself. He's only scored once this year (an average sized doe in November) and has two at-bats remaining (Sat. evening and Sunday morning) Can he do it? Can he save his season ?(provide his family with backstrap?) He strides to the plate (tripod) with confidence, bat (bow) on his shoulder, hoping for a hanging curveball (broadside buck at 20yds). Good luck to you.I was thinking the same thing.I am hunting public land this year and had that one chance I was hoping for and blew it.So we will see what the weekend brings.

Yep, I will be heading out in the morning to try for my trophy buck. Got the cull last month but the beast is eluding me big time!!!
