    New release issue

Just picked up a ringer finger release. Started practicing with it noticed all my shots were left about 10 inches. Switched back to my trigger and I was back on. I feel like my anchor point is the same is it something I'm doing or normal with this type release???? Help a brotha out

I'm assuming this is a handle release and you usually use a strap release? If so its more than likely gonna be different because you will usually anchor different. For me this is the case any ways. Good luck

I may be wrong but left and right has little to do with anchor point I thought. If your peep and sight are lined up then you should still be the same. You may need to move your peep up or down to help with the different anchor point but this should just change up and down.

You may be pulling your shots or leaning your bow due to holding it different.

Your anchor may feel the same, but your string position is different. It is probably closer to your face wich will make your shots go left. There is a lot more to anchor point than where your hand is on your jaw line.

Any variation on the back end will affect the point of impact on the front end. Keep working on a consistent anchor with the new release and adjust accordingly.
