    Thermacell refills?

Does it matter whether you use the regular refills vs the earth scent refills for bow hunting? I can't find anything stating whether the regular refills give off any kind of odor.

Used both and didn't notice any difference.

I can smell a difference with my nose. The original ones are much more noticeable to me. I say this, but mine's usually within a few foot of my face when I'm hunting. I can't say that it makes a difference when hunting though. I've used both and neither of them got me busted or anything.

If you're hog hunting, they're gonna bust you either way.

I'm a rookie so, in the few times I've hunted a pig or hog, I got busted a few times using a thermacell. I'll keep trying.

Gotta hunt hogs the same way as deer. Wash your clothes with scent eliminating detergent, keep them in a carbon bag, spray down with a scent killer before heading to the stand. I even use the scent killing body wash, shampoo, and deodorant. I killed a dozen or more just last year, while using a thermacell.

Following. Last time out at the lease I swear killed hundreds that landed on me. Got at least 30-40 in my car alone.

If they smell the Thermacell, they smell you, and vice versa.
