A guy who can't read generated $500 Million

Even before sales via cable companies are tabulated, the bout has already sold 2.25 million pay-per-views, which makes it the second-best selling fight ever with much more to come.

Mayweather-Pacquiao PPV sales are astronomically high; could hit 5 million

DirecTV sold 1.15 million pay-per-views, while Dish's number was 500,000. The telephone companies combined for 600,000. Combined, that is 2.25 million already. If cable systems wound up being 60 percent of the total, that would mean the final figure is a mind-boggling 5.625 million.

Mayweather gets 60% of PPV sales so he's looking at a $300+ Million payday
For 36 minutes of Dancing with a Star

Man I know. I don't expect knockouts in those weight clases, but some contact would be nice. I'll admit it though, I'm a sucker and would buy the rematch

Do you think they would be able to generate those type of numbers on the second go around?

I heard that Pac supposedly had a torn rotator cuff prior to the fight...Money is saying he won't fight him again but I bet both of those things are just to build hype up.

                    Yes, I think so.
They will charge $150 for PPV and people will pay it.
$100 for a fight was unheard of but they got twice as many people ever to buy it almost paying double what the average PPV fight goes for.

Too many people want to see Floyd lose.
People on this site hate the man's guts and spent $100 unsuccessfuully to see him lose.

Not worth the money to me though. If I wanna see a fight I'll watch Canelo

He is going to ask Pac for 80/20
                        At the very least 75/25
Pac accepted 60/40 this go round
Off of these two fights MW will have earned $500 million for himself
A half BILLION dollars for one hours (72 mins) worth of work

Yea it was a fight too. Mayweather won't fight like that again though. Doesn't have to. My point is all of his fights even his loss are a FIGHT.
