    Saw this little guy while mowing. Not sure what he was but I was in flip flops and had nothing to catch him with.

    Looks like a small rattler. But I bet it's a adolescent grass snake.

          I saw one exactly like it today. I was loading compost into a wheelbarrow and he was in the pile. Gave me a pretty good startle, but I let him go on his way.

                    Brown snake. I have quite a few that frequent my garden and live under some palmetto leaves I piled up on the edge of the woods. They are harmless and as many as I've caught, I've never seen one strike
