I guess being able to store the battery in a carrying case and having the charging ports available.

You do realize that's $70 for a plastic box with external terminals don't you?
You still have to buy a battery to put inside.
You could buy a regular box and install your own terminals for a lot less than $70.

A lot of guys use them. I post on tinboats.net and there are several guys out there that swear by them for their small boats.

I got one with the boat that I bought but its broke. I think its a cool concept but not for $70. I just use it as a regular battery box now.
