How to kill leaf footed bugs on Texas Ash tree

I have a Texas Ash and it has been infested with... what looks like the leaf footed bug. They are all over the place.

What have y'all used successfully to kill these dang things. They are nasty suckers. This in Travis county.

I saw "left footed bugs" and was wondering how you could tell they were left footed.

The product that works the best on these bugs is Thiodan. It comes in a powder and liquid. I would try to find the liquid. Use a couple of drops of dish washing soap with each gallon of spray to improve coverage.
