I inherited this $500 pellet rifle from my stepdad when he died back in 2005. It's a Diana RWS 48. Shoots great and very accurate for an air rifle! A couple of years ago the the pull/cocking rod broke on it and right before that, the windage screw fell out on the rear sight. So, the rifle has been in the safe ever since. I finally ordered a new pull rod and windage screw last night so I can start using it again. I've been wanting to put a decent scope on this thing, so I'm looking for opinions. It's used mainly for plinking and taking down varmints. Any suggestions?
