    Bear camp list

Ok guys my list is getting long but I want to make sure I don't miss anything. Heading to Edmonton Canada next week for 7 day bear hunt. Taking boats up river and staying in outfitter tents. For any of you that have done this type of trip what are must have items to pack? Yes I have my bow :-)

Last year I got stuck in a hunting camp for a day and the one thing I wish I would have had was a book. I am not a big reader, but I was bored out of my mind and it was raining. I was done hunting. Other than that, bug suit, rain gear, safety harness, compass, flashlight, headlamp, gps, extra batteries, pocket knife.....I don't really have a list that is just off the top of my head. Good luck!

Boolets for the gun. Crazy man shooting arrows at a bear...nonsense I say!

Extra plastic bags to wrap everything in after you get soaked during the hunt from dew, mist, rain, sweat and blood.

7 days is a long time, might wanna bring something to keep entertained...like a deck of cards, kindle with decent books, small fishing kit, snacks for you and treats to hand out like some candy or jerky. A small bottle of something in the adult beverage category that you keep wrapped up till the end would be a nice surprise and treat. And good coffee grounds, not that freeze dried junk.

Fishing gear if you will be by the water, something to occupy your time in case you shoot a bear early on.

I'm gonna add, take a small bottle of100% deet, Also might not hurt to take a roll if TP in a ziplock bag and maybe a few energy bars just in case. You outfitter would have food, toilet paper etc. but you never know what might happen.
