Gigging in 20 plus mph winds - Double Trip

I had Will on the boat last night from Taggart motors. He wanted to know how you can gig fish in a 20mph wind. He said he had his own flounder rig and can not gig fish in the summer time. We went out at dark and had his limit 5 fish in 30min. Looked over at me and said that's how u get er done. Click image for larger version

I pick up Louie party of 4 on my second trip at 10:30 and before we left I asked them if they really wanted to go out and battle the windy condition. The wind was picking up to about 25 mph. With the bad winds, the flounder were loving it. I made 2 stops and we gigged their 20 fish limit by 12:40. I found all of my fish on soft mud around grass beds. Click image for larger version

A couple of those flounder look a little thick! Nice haul and an excellent fish display for the pic.
