Looking for an s-10

Was wondering if anyone on here knew anyone with an s-10 single cab, long wheelbase that came with v-8 from factory. Doesn't have to be running but would be great if it did. Looking for something cheap. Don't care if it is beat up body wise. Must have title. Wanting to put an old truck or car body on it. Let me Know what you got or know of.

I don't think they ever came with a V-8.

I don't believe they had v8's but if you can find a Syclone or Typhoon that would be pretty sweet

Yeah maybe it was the ones with a 4.6 six cylinder. Will have to read up on it

V6 I think was the largest from the factory, but did have a few friends that dropped 350's in a few. It could get interesting at times.

The 4.3 v6 in them was pretty good matchup for their weight. none came with a 5.7l though. Have you tried autotrader.com, yet?

Back in the day I had a friend that put a 350 in one. My V6 Dakota still out ran it.

The ONLY engines that were available in an S-10 were 2.2L 4 banger, 2.5L 4 banger, 2.8L V6, or a 4.3L V6. The 4.3L V6 was basically a 5.7L (350 V8) with the back 2 cylinders cut off. So, it was a common modification to swap a Chevy 350 in place of the 4.3L V6.


The Typhoon and Cyclone both had 4.3L V6s, but they were turbocharged, were all wheel drive, and were VERY quick.
