Now this is a thread worth following!
I'm working away at a Springbank 10 i picked up in England this year, absolute cracker and a lagavulin 16, I do love heavily peated but it's probably my least favourite I've tried. Just about finished a glendronach 18, loved every drop. Also picked up a glenfarclas 15 and old pulteney 17.
I bought a good bottle of wine for the birth of my first girl and the old pulteney for the birth if my first boy. Will be opening one or the other in a few months!
I've decided if I only have girls I'll save the old pulteney for the first ones 18th birthday and she can have a dram with her old man and her two poppies [emoji16]
We don't have much in the way of bourban or American whiskey around here. Last thing I bought was a Rollins Tennessee, wasn't bad for $50.
Sipping whisky is a dying thing in Australia. I only have one mate that kinda will do it though he generally mixes his unless it's something special.

Still beats about everything double its price (imo). Glad there's no hype about it. Still a good value
Maybe Blantons will come back down when my 12 bottles run out
Round here it’s called Turkey Juice and it’s a staple during deer season[emoji41]
