Without reading and searching through 164 pages of posts. What is a good list of whiskeys to keep an eye out for?

I know the Buffalo Trace distillery puts out good whiskey.

I’m just starting to get into different whiskey’s. I’ve been drinking Rebecca Creek for about a year. I picked these two up tonight to start my little collection. I’ve heard good things about them.

Good place to start if you are getting into drinking neat. Reviews I heard on Travelers is a kind bland one note pour. That's not a bad place to start out to have a way to compare. Most Weller products are great. The lower proof bourbon(85-90) is also great place to start. High proof can be overpowering when you first start. There are a lot of great bottles that you can find for $50-80

If I were to suggest bottles for building a collection from scratch....

Angels Envy....low proof bourbon
Jameson....Irish very easy drinking
Yellow Rose.....sweeter blended whiskey
Pendleton Midnight....Canadian easy drinking
