Anybody tried Sledge? I won this bottle at a golf tourney raffle. It’s absolutely delicious and cool story. Guy is using his grandfather’s WWII hooch recipes. They are local for me and have tastings, tours etc. good day trip thing for FDW area folks.

I had seen this recommendation several times. On a trip where I was flying back, I got a bottle knowing I’d end up leaving half of it. Good stuff for the price, and it didn’t hurt my wallet leaving 7$ worth behind.

Unintentionally posted these in the trade thread, but I found a honey hole in Taylor this weekend. Podunk little liquor store called “King’s Liquor”. Some may even call it ghetto. After stopping quickly on our way to Granger on Friday, I had to make a 2nd trip to town on Saturday for more. They had a bottle of Elmer T. Lee as well, but had already promised it to someone else so wouldn’t sell it to me.
