This Weller reserve is some good stuff!



Way smoother than the angels envy or the four roses that I have.



I’m sure I’ll sample the Willet sometime this weekend and report back

Oh dang. I’ve never been in and not found eagle rare guess the secret is out. Was the Willett a 4yr or 3yr? They had plenty of 4yr couple weeks back

I think it was the three year? Its in the pot still bottles. I snagged a bottle of that earlier this week and hadn’t tried it yet so I didn’t spring for another.

Great store though - it’s on my way home from work so I’ll be frequenting it to see what rolls in.

I enjoyed my Rhetoric 24 and recently polished it off.

Still have a Rhetoric 23 in the bunker, but I preferred the 24.

I agree that it got better. When I first opened mine, it was really “oaky”, but got sweeter and less oaky/tannin flavored after a couple months.

Sipping on some angels envy tonight. Very “oaky” after flavor, a little bite to it. Not nearly as enjoyable as the weller but good none the less. Probably wouldn’t buy again. Is the rye version any better?
