Opened the Stagg Jr tonight.

Quick review:

LOTS of flavor. Heavy cherry and tobacco
LOTS of heat... but it’s 130+ proof, so that’s a given
Great finish that last


Needs the ice... or water and really is a quality drink at reasonable (in today’s market) price (I payed ($53ish). I’d buy again over others in this price range

Agreed, really good pour if you can find it for a fair price. Definitely has some heat, pour over ice.

Yep, I like it at retail price ($45ish), but I definitely require some ice with this one. Some bourbons I can drink neat, but this one definitely needs some ice or a few drops of water.
