Toledo Bend Crappie

Anybody got any reports for crappie on the Bend ? I'm headed up to the camp (south end) tomorrow afternoon with my two sons and would like to get them on a mess of sac-a-lait

Hines Creek is loaded with them right now. Fish the flats area going into it. Near Polly Gouch

FIL caught a few yesterday. He's usually around the six mile area. I think the latest I heard from him was Lowe's creek though.

14' to 15' of water.

A friend of mine just called and said they caught 75 in front of Laguna Shores in the same depth !

We need to hook up one afternoon and hit Sabine Lake ! I usually launch at the Cow Bayou bridge in BC. I am usually fishing by myself during the week.

Of course, after all of this dang fresh water thins out !!

Yes sir, I live on Cow Bayou. Let me know. I stay pretty bowed up with 9 year old baseball right now but here shortly Ill be ready to get after them fish. Im supposed to drive down to New Orleans tomorrow and pick up my new boat. So it wont be long and Ill be chasing reds in the marsh.
