recommendation on a new bow

I have a buddy that's looking at getting a new bow. He is looking for a mid range to high end bow.

I recomment Hoyt Niturm really but my advise to him is you really have to shoot them to tell. I like Elite and PSE too..

What would you guys recomment?

First and foremost, he needs to define his budget or limit. If $$ is no object then the playing field is wide open. However there are lots of mid-range priced bows that deliver and perform like the higher priced bows

Secondly, it doesn't matter what "we" like, the bow should feel comfortable to him which results in confidence. If he buys brand X because all his buddies shoot the same brand, and it just doesn't feel right, then he purchased a bow for all the wrong reasons.

Have him test drive ALL brands and let the bow choose him

the new mathews nocam is really really nice, i would tell him to definalty try it

Well he was considering the Hoyt Nitrum 34 which puts him in the $1k price range.
