    Central Serous Retinopathy-Eye problems

Has anyone else experienced this?? It's a leaking of fluid under the retina and distorts vision. The best analogy is imagine looking at two TVs side by side, one TV is has full brightness and everything is crystal clear, the other TV has had the brightness reduced about 30-40% and everything is a fraction smaller.

It's in my shooting eye and it very much affects me in low light conditions. I've had to pass on shots before because I couldn't see through my peep sight.

I first had it about 10 years ago and it went away for about five years, now I get several times a year. Several factors can cause it, mine is due to lack of sleep.

Come hunting season it always come back--lack of sleep.

Has anyone had this and been cured of it??

I have had it twice, about 10 years apart. Been about 3 years since the last episode. Doc told me that if it happened again, surgery would likely be necessary. He also told me recurrence was unlikely. As I understand his explanation, if it was recurring that much, he would have already recommended the surgical fix. Apparently the surgery is to cauterize what's leaking in there.
