^^^^That gator had to be 90 years old.

Yup! Went to gator world in Florida and they had a 12ft gator their, rough aged at 75 to 80 years old. Saved it from Urban sprawl, living in a very isolated region that recently fell under Urban expansion. Relocated it instead of killing it.


Another wild animal is the Maine lobster. These guys live over 100 years old if they are allowed to grow and survive.

Swamp People lying about weight of Gators!!

Last two pics were gators at 12 and 13 foot none were over 375. Third pic from the bottom are two gators around 10'2 and went 210 and 225. Both needed two grown men to get them in the boat. I saw an episode when Liz's helper pulled a 500 lb 8 footer into the boat by herself lmfao. Gator went 150 at the most.

I shot this 11'1" gator a few years ago. The first thing the guide told me before we went to hoist him up for a weight was "Just remember, every time those guys on Swamp People say they have an 800# gator, they are lying out their rear ends!".

Nice gator. I killed one a few years ago that was 9' 11" and weighed 223 pounds.





It is amazing how much broader and heavier they get with a foot or so in length.

Does anyone else get sick of the announcer saying " 700 pound giant " even 500 I know dang well those guys are not catching 9 footers that weigh 6-7 hundred pounds. To me it is just lying, and no need for it.

yep, I am to the point that i can't even watch that show, between lying about length/ weight, and at least one group always huntin down ol legendary snaggletoof'd freak monster thats terrorizin someone not to mention those two idjits rj and jay paul I just end up gettin angry at myself for watchin it. It was OK at first but it has more than run its course.
