My daughter needs an 8th grade science fair project. Somewhat jokingly, I brought up the which cooler holds ice the best. She has decided to go with it. I have a yeti 65 and a couple of other cheaper type coolers. This is where the green screen comes in. I would like to borrow a brute or bison or pelican cooler for her to do this experiment with. I thought this might also help settle the argument that has often come up on here. If anyone knows anyone with bison cookers, I'm sure she would gladly use one from then since they are a sponser. I know this may sound kind strange but I promise it's not a scam. Feel free to message if you might be able to help. We are 30 minutes north of Denton. Thanks in advance for anyone's help

You could also do it for an economics project. Add dry ice to your igloo and see how many times you would have to use it to pay for the price difference.
I actually want a high end cooler but only for their durability. The ice retention doesn't come in to play for me. We have an ice machine at the ranch

The durability is why I have one.

Since this involves your daughter it MAY be the most civil cooler thread ever on TBHI bet Bison would donate one for the cause. Tell her to keep all the variables the same to keep the cooler "homers" from getting their pants in a wad
I think it would be great to have one criteria consist of coolers left in the garage with lids closed for a couple of days before filling them up with ice (since that is the most realistic situation). Not to get too detailed but is her teacher good with her comparing different coolers and then stating which foam insulation (if known) is best or is she going to only get to test one cooler under different circumstances? for example her hypothesis is that cooler "A' will keep ice longer if left indoors for two days versus a garage for two days?
