    Eastons first Pig

Not quite sure how Easton has been hunting for 2 1/2 yrs now in Young/Throckmorton counties and hasn't gotten a shot at a pig yet but tonight I took him on both his and my first spring turkey hunt. We saw 3 gobblers and got to watch them gobble a few times as they passed through at about 100 yards. Just at dark a 100-120lb pig came strolling into the feeder and although we were in the middle of exiting the ground blind we were able to get back into the blind and get him on the pig without spooking him. After a short 30 second wait once he was ready the pig turned broadside and he let him have it square in the shoulder. The pig ran about 30-40 yards and was done. He was getting pretty worked up and did a great job composing himself and making the shot
