    Laser Tuning

I know most perople that tune their bow prefer paper tuning. What about laser tuning? IS laser tuning enough to make sure that your bow is shooting properly, or should you paper tune it to make sure? Just curious....

Lazer as far as setting your bow up for center shot? I paper tuned mine regardless, then later walk back tuned it

Unless the laser has enough power to burn a hole in the paper, I don't know. Center shot, I've seen it done. But center shot is not equal to a tuned bow.

I have seen a laser that will do that, but not the size you could put on a bow.

Laser is a starting point IMHO.
How you grip the bow, arrow spine, the way the string feeds off the cam etc. could have you moving the center shot away from what the lazer said.

Laser does not take into account how you hold/torque your bow and all the other little things you do ( your form).
Laser is a starting point but to do it right you need to tune the bow to the way you shoot it ie paper, walkback.

Bill I did not realize how BIG that laser is until I spotted the man in the bottom center of the picture

Lazar tuning gets your rest in proper alignment with the center of the riser you still have to check the cam alignment and find the center shot for the nock its a useful tool but not the exact everything. I just bought one today.

I finally broke down and bought a bow vise, one of the string/arrow level combos, and a Bowplane II laser bow square. I already have an arrow saw, bow scale and chronograph. Now all I need is to build a paper tuning rack and get a bowpress/draw board combo and I should be able to do any/all tuning I need to do on my own bow.
