To freeze an animal hide?

I have a bobcat that has been frozen for a few years.....3 maybe? Found it digging in the freezer. Is it still good? I have heard 1-2 years tops??

Was going to go with a full body mount, but thinking maybe just a rug at this point??

Probably freezer burned by now... Usually one year max

Your taxidermist can thaw it and determine if the eyes and ears are freezer burned. Did you have wrapped up in bags to prevent air on the hide?
