    HHA users question?

My new bow is coming in the mail right now and I still have to rig it out. Plan on going with the HHA 5510 series but not sure if I should go with the small housing or the 2"? Any recommendations on what you prefer and why? I shoot a 29" draw if that makes a difference and 1/4" or 5/16" peep.

    Thanks
    Justin

My bow is set @ 29" also and I use the 2". mainly Bc I was shooting a sight with 2" before I switched over and that's what it came with with. And I use a 1/4" peep. I seem to see more of my surroundings with the 5/16" sight so I stayed with the 1/4". I tried the 3/16 for a lil while. Like it but felt more comfortable with the 1/5" Bc I was used to shooting it.

I have one of each, and I prefer the larger housing for hunting. It allows me the see more of the critter. I have crummy eyes though, so I may be a bad reference.

            Same here
            29" DL
My only regret is getting the .019 pin instead of .010

Always used the small housing, but just got one of their new whiz-bang sights with the larger housing and I already like it better. I shoot a large peep too after having not shot with a peep for years. I think it's 5/16 at least. My draw is 31 1/2 and have a 3/4" D-loop. With the new King sight mount attached to give the maximum projection to the front of the riser, the peep and OD of the larger housing like up almost perfectly with each other. I also have a 4X lens, and have been really shooting it well. Unless something unexpected right now pops up, that will be my go-to combination this Fall... Oh and I got the 0.019 dia. fiber too. Kinda wish I'd gotten the .010.

Since going to a smaller housing I feel like my groups got tighter, my last sight was multi pin 2" housing.
The pin size at longer ranges sometimes widen the groups back up, but not too much out to 40 and I just doubt il ever shoot past that.
As I'm trying to line up my pin with my target I feel like I chase my spot less. Maybe because I'm trying to keep that spot inside housing.
It's probably all in my mind, but I like it.
